Safe Cities Part 2: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea

Revisiting some of the most dangerous public spaces in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea – the city’s marketplaces – this documentary takes an inside look at how the Safe Cities Global Initiative is working to curb violence against women and girls. As one of the initiative’s five pilot projects, the Port Moresby Safe Cities programme is targeting select city markets for simple, but well-designed interventions that have the potential for high impact in reducing fear, changing behaviours, and making the city's women and girls, safer.
