Global leaders and Member States will come together to review progress and chart the future course of the global AIDS response at the 2011 UN General Assembly High-level Meeting on AIDS from 8 to 10 June 2011 in New York. The High-level meeting on AIDS marks the 30th year since the start of the AIDS pandemic and the 10th anniversary of the Declaration of Commitment on HIV/AIDS of 2001. At the Meeting, UN Women will call attention to women and girls, who continue to live with a greater share of the infection. [Read Media Advisory]
