Media advisory: UN Women co-sponsored events during the 57th Commission on the Status of Women, 4 – 15 March 2013
During the two-week session, UN Women will host several official and side events and call on Member States to strengthen global norms and standards and increase political commitment and action on this year’s priority theme of eliminating and preventing all forms of violence against women and girls.
