Domestic workers gain equal rights in Brazil
On the occasion of the enactment of a new law granting equal rights to domestic workers last week, UN Women launched a study on the positive impact of formalizing such employment, both for Brazil’s economy and for the country’s efforts to reduce poverty.
Towards an inclusive and gendered post-2015 agenda
UN Women Deputy Executive Director John Hendra participated in a panel on the “Key gender equality issues to be reflected in the post-2015 development framework” on 7 March during the 57th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW57).
