Regional distribution of programme expenses by outcome area This chart provides the distribution of UN-Women field-based programme expenses (core and non-core) in 2018 by region and outcome, in millions. For example, 2018 field-based programme expenses in Outcome 4 under the Asia Pacific region totaled $21.80 million. Financial information for the year ended 31 December 2018 has been prepared on an accrual accounting basis in accordance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).

 

UN Women Revenue This chart provides an overview of UN-Women revenue from contributions for the period 2014-2018. It also presents regular resources (RR) and other resource (OR) projections set in the integrated budget. In 2018, total revenue was $392 million. Assessed contributions were $8 million. Regular resources were $149 million ($51 million less than projected) and other resources were $235 million ($5 million less than projected). The share of regular resources to other resources was 39%.

 

TOP 15 CONTRIBUTORS TO UN-WOMEN RESOURCES This chart presents the top 15 contributors to UN-Women resources in 2018. Total contributions from the top 15 funding partners was 73 per cent of total contributions in 2018, or $287.78 million. For example, Sweden was the largest overall funding partner and contributed a total of $54.9 million ($20 million in regular resources and $34.9 million in other resources).
