Ring the bell for gender equality

We are honoured to invite you to the global kickoff celebration of International Women’s Day, on March 7th at Nasdaq.

Nasdaq is pleased to announce that our stock exchanges will host a bell ringing ceremony to raise awareness of the pivotal role the private sector can play in advancing gender equality to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #5: Gender equality.

We will start the celebration from our New York location on March 7th and continue with the ceremonies in other locations on March 8th.

Companies are invited to show their commitment to gender equality through representation at the closing bell. We invite one representative from your company to join us at the Nasdaq podium during the closing bell.

The event in New York is being organized in partnership with UN Women. Other global partners for the Ring the Bell initiative include the Women in the ETFs, UN Global Compact, the Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) Initiative, IFC, and the World Federation of Stock Exchanges.

Space is limited, and we ask that each company limits attendance to 2 guests (only 1 representative is requested to join the podium for the closing bell). You are welcome to join any portion of tghe agenda as your schedule permits.
