Yannick Glemarec announced as UN Women’s new Deputy Executive Director for Policy and Programme

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon announced today the appointment of Yannick Glemarec, of France, as UN Women’s new Deputy Executive Director for Policy and Programme, at the Assistant Secretary-General level. He succeeds John Hendra, of Canada.

Currently the Executive Coordinator for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office, after serving as UNDP Executive Coordinator for the Global Environment Facility in New York for six years, Mr. Glemarec brings over 25 years of experience in fund administration, programme management and leadership in development cooperation at the international level.
