The United Kingdom Mission to the United Nations, UN Women, the Nobel Women’s Initiative and the Office of the Special Representative on Sexual Violence in Conflict will co-organize a high level discussion on “Preventing sexual and gender based crimes in conflict and securing justice for survivors”.
Notable participants will include UK Foreign Minister, the Rt.Hon. William Hague and Special Adviser to the Secretary-General, Zainab Bangura other distinguished guests will include women Nobel Peace Laureates, Shirin Ebadi, Leymah Gbowee and Jody Williams.
