(English) Press Release: UN Women in Afghanistan strongly condemns “honour killings” of women and girls
(English) Recently several cases of “Honour Killings” have been reported by the media and Afghan Women’s Network (AWN) recorded three cases of such killings across the country during the month of March. This includes a young girl buried alive by her brother and father in Kishim district of Badakhshan Province.

(English) Bringing drama into the streets: interactive theatre performances counter violence against women in Bangladesh
(English) In parks, town halls and street corners across southern Bangladesh, nearly 200 children and youth are producing and performing street plays to actively engage and empower onlookers to take steps against gender violence.
