(English) Bolstering efforts to end impunity for femicide and gender-motivated killings
(English) During a CSW57 side event on “Gender-motivated killings of women,” UN Women Executive Director Michelle Bachelet detailed UN efforts to end impunity through legal reforms to establish femicide as a specific crime – particularly in Latin America, where rates are highest.

En visite au Mali, la Secrétaire générale adjointe de l’ONU et Directrice exécutive d’ONU Femmes, Mme Michelle Bachelet, a lancé un appel pour que l’aide humanitaire soit acheminée sans entraves et que cessent l’escalade de la violence et les atteintes aux droits de l’homme perpétrées dans le Nord du pays, et notamment les violences sexuelles à l’égard des femmes.
