2018 Women's Empowerment Principles Forum

2018 Ring the Bell

In celebration of International Women’s Day (8 March 2023), UN Women is pleased to announce that over 40 stock exchanges will host a bell ringing ceremony to raise awareness of the pivotal role the private sector can play in advancing gender equality to achieve SDG 5. The events are organized together with UN Global Compact, the Sustainable Stock Exchanges initiative, IFC, Women in ETFs and the World Federation of Exchanges. For more information, please contact the WEPs Secretariat at UN Women.
