CSW69 Side Events
The programme of side events and parallel events, or activities organized outside the formal programme of the session of the Commission, provides an excellent opportunity for Member States, UN entities and NGOs to discuss themes of the Commission and other critical gender equality issues.
Side events held on UN premises
Permanent Missions, intergovernmental organizations and United Nations entities hold side events on UN premises during the CSW session. Permanent Missions and UN entities interested in organizing a CSW69 side event are asked to contact UN-Women via email to [ Click to reveal ]. The deadline for Permanent Missions, intergovernmental organizations and United Nations entities to register CSW side events is 31 January 2025.
The organizations of the United Nations system are committed to enabling events taking place in an inclusive, respectful and safe environment. All participants of the CSW, in-person and online, and any contributions they make, must comply with the United Nations Code of Conduct. By engaging in CSW you accept and agree to abide by the United Nations Code of Conduct.
Parallel events held by Non-governmental Organizations
Parallel events organized by NGOs are coordinated by the NGO Committee on the Status of Women (NGO CSW/NY), which is a group of New York–based women’s NGOs in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council.
