The Global Annual Meeting of Gender Focal Points and Focal Points for Women in the United Nations brings the network together in person and supports the gender focal points in their ongoing work to enhance gender parity and an enabling environment in their respective entities. Based on conference discussions, this report summarizes perspectives and early analysis on confidence building from a women, peace, and security perspective. It also offers preliminary recommendations for further research and action.

This report is the outcome of a two-day conference on reparations for survivors of conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV) held on 8 and 9 June 2016 outside Sarajevo, in Jahorina, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It captures the successes of reparations programmes in the Western Balkans, challenges and setbacks, good practices, and lessons learned, and offers a comparative analysis of laws and policies on reparations in post-conflict countries in the sub-region.
