The Action for Peacekeeping Initiative and its rapid and comprehensive adoption by the international community is a very important step forward in the peace and security agenda.

Today, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), a long-standing partner of UN Women, announced a significant contribution of 80 million Krona (USD 8.8 million) to UN Women’s Flagship Programme on gender data, Making Every Woman and Girl Count.
