High-level ministerial breakfast event: Adapting to climate change, empowering women through the sustainable management of natural resources

Co-sponsored by the Permanent Missions of Finland and Tanzania, in partnership with UN Women, UNCCD and others, this event highlights the importance of integrating gender equality considerations in tackling the impacts of climate change on sustainable livelihoods. The event focuses on how to strengthen, both at global and local levels, the role of women as agents of change in adapting to climate change, building resilience and managing natural resources.
