UN Women to host Ask Me Anything with Executive Director Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka

Date:

UN Women is calling on young people from all over the world to submit their questions to Executive Director Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka on social media. In a special edition of Ask Me Anything, she will select a few lucky audience members’ questions to be featured in a video that will premiere across UN Women’s channels on 28 September.

Ask Me Anything with Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, Executive Director of UN Women

Twenty-five years ago, activists gathered for the Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing. Today, the journey for women’s rights and empowerment continues, and youth need to be at the centre.

This timely social media event comes as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women, and as part of UN Women’s #GenerationEquality campaign to highlight the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.

Now, we call on #GenerationEquality to pose their burning questions in this intergenerational dialogue. Whether you want to know more about being part of #GenerationEquality, or understand how to take action, this is your chance! Submit your questions in text or video format in the comments on UN Women’s social media channels.
