Expert Group Meeting: Achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls in the context of climate change, environmental and disaster risk reduction policies and programmes

UN Women convened a virtual expert group meeting (EGM) on the priority theme, Achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls in the context of climate change, environmental and disaster risk reduction policies and programmes, from 11 - 14 October 2021.

Input for the report of the Secretary-General on the review theme

The report, prepared for the sixty-sixth session of the Commission on the Status of Women (14 – 25 March 2022), reviews and assesses the extent to which Member States have implemented the agreed conclusions from the sixty-first session of the Commission, on “Women’s economic empowerment in the changing world of work”.  The report summarizes the progress, gaps and challenges relating to action taken at the national level in implementing the agreed conclusions.
