Enabling environment: Engage, exchange, equip

UN Women leads and coordinates a system-wide network of more than 200 gender focal points. The global annual meeting brings the network together in person and supports the gender focal points in their ongoing work to enhance gender parity and an enabling environment in their respective entities.

The 2017 global meeting was organized on 16 November 2017 in Geneva. The day’s discussions focused on one of the recommendations included in the Secretary-General’s “System-wide strategy on gender parity”, namely on how to build on an enabling environment.
