UN Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women annual report 2019

The “UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women annual report 2019” looks at the work of UN Trust Fund-funded civil society organizations during 2019, where more than two million people were reached through 61 projects, and highlights their extraordinary achievements through the year in working to end the long existing pandemic of violence against women.

As the UN Trust Fund comes to the end of its current Strategic Plan covering 2015–2020, the report analyses achievements in 2019 and looks back over the course of the last four years, where grantees reached more than 22 million individuals with projects to prevent and end violence against women and girls.

The report shows the life-changing work of women’s rights and women’s led organizations in their capacity on the front line in delivering services to survivors, implementing laws and policies, and preventing violence against women and girls globally.
