A transformative goal in the region for the future we want

This informative booklet was produced for distribution amongst national delegations attending the XII Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean which took place in Santo Domingo, from 15 to 18 October 2013. The booklet includes a summary of UN Women’s position paper on the post-2015 agenda, a review of key areas of the Beijing Platform for Action and summaries of the Consensus adopted at the two previous editions of the Regional Conference on Women. The XII Regional Conference focused on gender equality, women’s empowerment and information and communications technologies (ICTs).
