Brief on formulating and implementing gender-responsive migration, labour and trafficking laws in Moldova
This brief focuses on providing legal recommendations for the formulation and implementation of gender-responsive migration, labour, and trafficking laws. After summarizing some background information, the brief provides general recommendations for governments and related agencies. It further outlines more detailed suggestions for countries of origin, transit and destination. The recommendations for countries of origin are divided into specific conditions that need to be considered pre-departure, recruitment prior to departure and for migrants who are returning.
