During the 2019 United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, on 11 July 2019 at 5 p.m. EDT, UN Women, and UNAIDS are co-hosting a New York City premiere of a unique award-winning feature film, “Pili”, about women living with HIV in Tanzania. The film is a collaboration between the filmmakers and the community, to capture one woman’s journey through hardship, pain, endurance, and hope.
The film screening will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A session with audience, as well as a reception.
The film screening is FREE and entrance will be open to all.
Doors open at 4.30 p.m.; film screening at 5 p.m. EDT.
