On the sidelines of the 2021 annual “Open debate on Security Council resolution 1325 on women, peace and security”, the Permanent Mission of Sierra Leone to the United Nations, the Permanent Mission of Mexico to the United Nations, the Permanent Mission of Norway to the United Nations, the African Union Permanent Observer Mission to the United Nations, the Global Network of Women Peacebuilders, and UN Women invite you to the high-level side event "Generation Equality Compact on Women, Peace and Security and Humanitarian Action: Translating commitments into achievements”.

Welcoming Women, Peace and Security and Humanitarian Action Compact (WPS-HA Compact) signatories from around the globe, the event will hear from women’s and youth organizations, governments, academics, and representatives from United Nations entities and regional organizations about the bold action they plan to take on gender equality in the next five years through the WPS-HA Compact.
