The Gender Dividend: A Business Case for Gender Equality

The Gender Dividend: A Business Case for Gender Equality presents the case for investments and actions — on an unprecented scale — to broaden the range of real opportunities open to the world's 3.5 billion women and girls.

Advocates for equality between women and men have long made the case that women's empowerment benefits everyone—not just women. Furthermore, in recent years, other actors have added their voices to this chorus, bringing with them strong economic arguments and evidence.

As an organization uniquely positioned to spearhead true transformative change for women and girls around the world; UN Women calls on its partners and donors to step up support for its coordination of UN system's work in advancing gender equality, as well as for its capacity building, technical assistance, service delivery, knowledge-sharing, and advocacy activities in the field.
