This side event of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development is organized by the UN Inequalities Task Team (co-chaired by UN Women and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights).

The event will focus on the issue of inequalities as key barriers to sustainable development and the ways that they have been exacerbated during the COVID-19 pandemic, and further highlight concrete strategies to address inequalities, including through equitable, sustainable, human rights-based, and feminist policies.
