Core resources report 2017: A report on regular resources
Core (regular) funding is the backbone of UN Women, providing predictable and flexible resources when and where they are needed the most, in alignment with the results of the Strategic Plan and fulfilment of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. UN Women depends on core resources to systematically integrate and achieve all parts of its triple mandate, including normative support, UN coordination, and operational activities.
Acknowledging the generosity of UN Women’s core funding partners, the first-ever core resources report provides insight into who contributes core funding. Highlighting UN Women’s key results in 2017, it shows how the funds are used to drive results.
