Agreed conclusions

The outcome of the Commission’s consideration of the priority theme during its 62nd session takes the form of agreed conclusions, negotiated by all Member States.

The Commission on the Status of Women adopted agreed conclusions on “Challenges and opportunities in achieving gender equality and the empowerment of rural women and girls” on 23 March 2018.

Resolutions

The Commission on the Status of Women adopted:

  • E/CN.6/2018/L.3
    a resolution on the "Situation of and assistance to Palestinian women", for action by the Economic and Social Council
  • E/CN.6/2018/L.4
    a resolution on "Release of women and children taken hostage, including those subsequently imprisoned, in armed conflicts", without a vote
  • E/CN.6/2018/L.5
    a resolution on "Women, the girl child and HIV and AIDS", without a vote
  • E/CN.6/2018/L.6
    a resolution on "Future organization and methods of work of the Commission on the Status of Women", for action by the Economic and Social Council
  • E/CN.6/2018/L.7
    a resolution on the "Twenty-fifth anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women", for action by the Economic and Social Council
