Announcement: The United Nations Headquarters in New York closed on 14 March

The United Nations Headquarters complex will be closed tomorrow Tuesday, 14 March 2017, due to inclement weather.
Official meetings of the Commission on the Status of Women and side events will not take place tomorrow, Tuesday 14th March. Also, CSW registration at the Pass and ID office will be closed.
Updates on the programme of the Commission on the Status of Women will be posted on the CSW61 website in due course.
The New York City Emergency Management Department and the National Weather Service have issued a Blizzard Watch in effect from late Monday night through late Tuesday night. The storm is forecast to bring heavy snow (12-18 inches), along with strong and potentially damaging winds that will create hazardous travel conditions on Tuesday.
