The UN Women Executive Board will convene for this year’s First Regular Session on 13 February at United Nations headquarters in New York.

After these statements, the Executive Board will be presented with briefings on UN Women’s follow-up to recommendations of the UNAIDS Programme Coordinating Board and a briefing on the innovation strategy for accelerating efforts towards gender equality and the empowerment of women.

Taking a closer look at the work of UN Women at country level, the Executive Board will be briefed on the UN Women operational response in Haiti.
