Generating evidence on the gendered impacts of new labour laws and conducting multi-site mapping on impact of COVID-19 for women in the tea sector in India

The project visualises important synergies to be made among other producer initiatives to improve the safety, health, and wellbeing of women and girls and as part of ensuring the sustainability of agricultural value chains in India.

In doing so, the partnership will contribute contribute to the knowledge area under the Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chains Initiative which is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and UN Safe Cities and Safe Public Spaces.
