As part of the webinar series on sexual harassment organized by the Office of UN Women’s Executive Co-ordinator on Sexual Harassment Ms. Purna Sen, we continue our discussions, this time focusing on kaleidoscopic justice.

Justice is often conceived as a formal accountability outcome. But those who have experienced sexual harassment very often don’t want to formalize their accounts and say they see little accountability. Should we be thinking of justice differently? Can justice take a variety of forms? As belief, as prevention (for others)?

Nicole Westmarland and Clare McGlynn have developed the idea of kaleidoscopic justice as a result of consultations with survivors of sexual violence. Does it have meaning for survivors of sexual harassment across different contexts?
