Photo Opportunity: UN Women Goodwill Ambassador Emma Watson to co-host HeForShe campaign special event
British actor and UN Women Goodwill Ambassador Emma Watson will co-host a special event for UN Women’s HeForShe campaign, a solidarity movement for gender equality, which calls upon men and boys to help end the persisting inequalities faced by women and girls globally.
The event will take place on 20 September 2014, with a photo opportunity immediately prior the event.

When: Saturday, 20 September 2014 at 4.45 p.m.
Where: Meet at the Media Accreditation & Liaison Unit (MALU, S-0250, United Nations Headquarters) at 4.15 p.m.
The official event starts at 5 p.m. in the Trusteeship Council. Space is limited and RSVPs are required for all media via http://goo.gl/keW56x by Friday 19 September at 12 p.m. Tickets for print media will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis, and if space is no longer available UN Women will alert the media outlet. Tickets for the event need to be collected from (MALU), who will also accompany all press members to the event and the photo opportunity.
TICKET DISTRIBUTION & LOGISTICS
- MALU will distribute the tickets to print media from their office on Saturday 20 September from 4 p.m.
- MALU needs to accompany all members of the press to the event.
NOTE TO MEDIA:
The photo opportunity is open only to UN media accredited still photographers (not video and print press). Photographers will be escorted by the staff of the Media Accreditation & Liaison Unit (MALU) to the location of the photo op, and subsequently to the Trusteeship Council media booth.
After RSVP-ing, print journalists need a special ticket to attend the event. The tickets will be distributed by MALU. The print press needs to be escorted by MALU to the Trusteeship Council.
